Museums, a Titian from Capodimonte to Rome for the G20 of Culture
There will also be the famous “Portrait of Pier Luigi Farnese in armor” by Titian to welcome the delegations for the first meeting of the ministers of culture of the G20, scheduled in Rome, until tomorrow, Friday 30 July. The painting is part of the prestigious Farnese collection of the Museum and Real Bosco di Capodimonte which merged in Naples with the accession to the throne of Charles of Bourbon (1734) and the gift of the collection of his mother, Elisabetta Farnese.
